Good Morning, Most reputable principal, respected teachers and loved friends. I am here to speak a few words on a great personality known worldwide- Swami Vivekananda.
India has always been the birthplace of outstanding personalities. Swami Vivekananda was one of those personalities who explained to the world the greatness of Indian philosophy and Hinduism. He spread the message of India’s spiritual heritage across the world.
He was born on 12 January 1863 into a Bengali family in Calcutta. His father Vishwanath Datta was an attorney at Calcutta high court and his mother Bhubaneswari Devi was a housewife. Initially, he had a quest about the existence of God.
His search ends up when he met Ramakrishna Paramhansa who helped him attain spiritual enlightenment. At last, he became a monk and devoted his life to the upliftment of humanity.
