Essay On A Visit to A Hill Station
Our journey started from Delhi to Mussoorie by taxi. We reached our destination in the evening. We stayed in a hotel for the night. The next day, we decided to explore the town.
Mussoorie has a vibrant market area where you can find everything from handcrafted items to designer clothes. Thereafter, we headed to Kempty Falls, which is a popular tourist spot in Mussoorie.
The falls are located about 15 kilometres from Mussoorie and are surrounded by thick forests. The waterfall is about 40 feet high and cascades into a pool of water where tourists can take a dip.
After spending a meaningful time at the falls, we headed to Lal Tibba which is the highest point in Mussoorie. It offers a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and valleys. From there, we could see the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas.
After the day completes, we got a chance to experience traditional dances, and music performances by local artists. We also tried some of the local cuisines which was a unique blend of spices and flavours.
On the last day, we went on a trek to Gun Hill which was quite challenging but we could see the breathtaking view of the entire town from the top. We would highly recommend a visit to Mussoorie to anyone looking for a peaceful and serene vacation in the lap of nature.
