In India, there are 6 different religions, 20+ languages, and 29 states. Moreover, each state possesses a different culture, different dishes, a different fashion style etc. Despite having this much diversity, every person is respected equally and treated as Indian. This is an explanation of what it means to be Unity in diversity.
Most Importantly, Indian armed forces select soldiers from all religions, cultures and states. They all show great faith in one another and protect the country together. Even though there are various languages in India, each Indian can understand a common language; Hindi.
In the time of festivities, people from different religions, cultures, creeds etc. celebrate together without showing any discrimination for participation in one another’s happiness. This is one of the reasons I love to be an Indian. Jai Hind. Thank you!
Speech On Unity in Diversity For 2 To 3 Minutes

Unity in diversity is an identification for our Country. Unity brings strength and diversity brings adventure. Unity in diversity is a process of clubbing them together. Hence, Unity in diversity is a strong and adventurous event. Is not it interesting? For me, this is very enjoyable to live in a place where unity in diversity is present. Why? Let’s find out.
We have all known the importance of unity since the stone age when we lived together to protect ourselves from wild animals. Time changed but as human beings, the sense of safety resides within us. Unity gives us a feeling of protection from foreign entities.
For example, we have seen the consequences of not being united when the Britishers adopted the trick of divide and rule. They got successful and ruled over the country for decades and exploited countrymen. Then it was the unity that helped us get freedom. Hence, unity will always hold its significance.
Now, let’s talk about diversity. A life without diversity and varieties feel boring and incomplete. Don’t you think so? Well, we are all eager to experience a variety of things be it food, fashion, culture etc. To be grateful, we have a chance to get it all under a roof i.e. our country India.
