Short Speech On the Role of Youth In Nation Building

In your special presence, I would like to say a few words about the role of youth in nation-building. First of all, good morning to the honourable principal, respected teachers and loving friends and all of you gathered here.

In any country, the population plays an important role in establishing a unique identity for the nation. Among the population, the young generation or youth is considered the building block for the economy and prosperity of the country because this segment contributes his intelligence and physical work for the progress of the country.

In short, the youth of a country plays a significant role in nation-building. Youth can lead the country to the path of progress and success. It is said that our future is decided by the actions we take today. In the same way, the youth of today is important for the future of tomorrow for the country.

The role of youth in nation building- speech

The youth possesses two required qualities of good energy levels and creativity. The energy levels in youth push them to work hard and their creativity levels encourage them to work smartly. When we do hard work combined with a smart strategy, the chances of success increase.

If we talk about another segment of the population i.e. kids and elders. They do not qualify for the test of having the features of high energy levels and improved creativity skills. This is one of the reasons that youth’s role in nation-building is irreplaceable.

Apart from the economy, youth can also help in social improvements. History witnessed that big reforms in the society were not possible without the involvement of youth. Hence, the youth also can help in building a better society by eliminating the social abuses present in society.

Now, it is very clear that youth is a very important aspect of a country. But the life of youth is not so easy. Their life is full of challenges. They also need help in order to help their country. The youth requires better education, guidance, employment and emotional support.

The government should introduce programs that will help in fighting off issues like these. Equal opportunities must be provided to the youth irrespective of caste, colour, creed etc. Moreover, families and elders must encourage the youth to do better in life.

This is all I wanted to share with you. I hope you find this speech helpful. Thank you again.
